Italians lift traffic bans
By virtue of the decree of the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, signed on 4 November 2020, HGV drivers will be allowed to drive without restrictions over the next three weekends.
The decree lifts traffic bans on three Sundays of November: 8th, 15th and 22nd. HGVs with a MAM of over 7.5 tons will be allowed to travel on non-urban roads. The decision was motivated by the COVID-19 crisis and the need to improve the efficiency of deliveries and traffic flow.
