New regulations on cargo securement come into effect
The Ordinance of the Polish Minister of Infrastructure of 25 January 2018 on the transportation of goods contains a number of requirements concerning cargo securement.
The regulations apply to the transportation of goods by vehicles of category N and O, which are mentioned in Appendix 2 to the Traffic Code Act of 20 June 1997.
The document sets out guidelines for the cargo area, principles of load placement to ensure its stability, methods of cargo securement and when it is necessary to check load placement and cargo securement.
