Germany – the toll extended to all federal roads from 1st July
The www.toll-collect.de website provides up-to-date information on important changes to the toll system.
The following sections are exempt from the toll:
– A6 from the German-Austrian border to junction Saarbrücken-Fechingen in both directions
– A6 from the German-Swiss border and the German-French border to junction Müllheim-Neuenburg in both directions.
The following rules remain unchanged:
– maximum authorised mass of 7.5 t
– toll rates specified in Annex 1 to the toll system regulation
– existing exemptions from the toll set out in section 1 item 2 of the BFStrMG regulation, e.g. the exemption for special vehicles used for road maintenance, including cleaning and snow removal services;
– additional exemptions for agricultural vehicles carrying loads as part of agricultural activity and moving at a maximum design speed not exceeding 40km/h
