
The Netherlands: curfew and new requirements for drivers
The new measures will come into effect on January 23 and will apply every day from 9:00 pm to 4.30 am.
All employees in the transport and logistics sector are exempt from the curfew, but are required to carry two declarations confirming that they are away from home as part of their job.
1) a statement from the employer. Self-employed drivers can prepare the statement themselves.
2) A self-declaration form that must be completed by the employee.
These forms do not have to be printed and can be presented digitally, for example on a phone. Below are the instructions for filling in the online form:
