Poland: drivers will not have to present test results
Since December 15, people arriving from outside the European Union, from outside the Schengen area, and from outside Turkey have been obliged to present a negative Covid test result not older than 24 hours in order to avoid quarantine.
In this current form the regulation also applies to HGV drivers who are not included in the list of exceptions. For this reason, the regulation is to be amended tomorrow.
A spokesman for the Ministry of Health has informed that professional drivers returning to the country as part of their job will also be exempt from the obligation to present test results.
❗The changes are to be ready today and will come into effect no later than tomorrow at noon – assures the spokesman of the Ministry of Health.
