Germany: A46 in Düsseldorf completely closed from Friday
The A46 motorway will be completely closed in both directions from August 15, 2025 at 9:00 p.m. until August 18, 2025 at 5:00 a.m.
Due to a scheduled inspection of the load-bearing cables, the Fleher Bridge (a bridge over the Rhine separating Düsseldorf and Neuss) will be entirely closed between the Düsseldorf-Bilk and Neuss-Uedesheim interchanges. A wide detour route has been set up via the Leverkusen and Cologne-North (Köln-Nord) interchanges. The works were originally scheduled for August 1–4 but had to be postponed due to weather conditions. The detours are signposted.
