Slovakia: the I/51 road closed from 9 to 17 November
The I/51 road between Jablonica and Trstín, at the Biela Hora Pass in the Senica district will be completely closed over over a week starting from November 9.
The reason for the closure is the felling of trees connected with the reconstruction of the I/51 road, which is underway.
The 2.5km section of the road will be closed from 06:00 AM on Saturday, November 9, until 10:00 PM Sunday, November 17.
DIVERSION ROUTES:
◾ Through traffic involving vehicles or vehicle combinations with a length over 10 m continues to be diverted along the route marked with temporary road signs.
◾ A diversion for vehicles with a GVW of over 12 t and buses follows along roads II/501 and III/1291 via Jablonica – Prievaly – Buková – Trstín and back.
◾ A diversion for vehicles with a GVW of over 12 t follows along roads II/501, II/499 and II/502 via Jablonica – Brezová pod Bradlom – Vrbové – Dechtice – Trstín and back.
