{"id":5772,"date":"2022-05-06T16:04:27","date_gmt":"2022-05-06T16:04:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/news.583.html"},"modified":"2022-05-06T16:04:27","modified_gmt":"2022-05-06T16:04:27","slug":"new-conditions-of-entry-into-italy-also-for-drivers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/avicegroup.com\/de\/new-conditions-of-entry-into-italy-also-for-drivers\/","title":{"rendered":"New conditions of entry into Italy also for drivers"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 class=\"ui header\">\n<div class=\"sub header\">The new conditions of entry, which came into effect on 18 August, vary depending on the person\u2019s country of origin.<\/div>\n<\/h1>\n<p style=\"font-size:1.1rem\">According to information provided by the Italian Ministry of Internal Affairs and International Cooperation, special containment measures, (COVID-19 test or quarantine) are now imposed on persons entering Italy if, within the last 14 days, they have stayed in (or passed through) one of the following countries: Croatia, Greece, Malta and Spain. Such persons are obliged to submit the attestation that they have undergone a molecular or antigenic test, carried out by means of a swab and with a negative result, within 72 hours prior to entering Italy or to undergo such a test within 48 hours of entering the country. All persons travelling to Italy from any foreign location are obliged, upon request, to submit a self-declaration.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/mae\/resource\/doc\/2020\/08\/self-declaration_in_case_of_entry_into_italy_from_abroad_-__form_18_8.pdf\" class=\"ui circular right labeled icon button\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Link to a self-declaration <i class=\"ui right arrow icon\"><\/i><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b>Professional drivers who have stayed in or (passed through) one of the above-mentioned countries are exempt from these special containment measures if:<\/b><br \/>\n\u2022 they can prove that they are entering Italy for professional reasons<br \/>\n\u2022 before entering Italy, they fill in a self-declaration<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/mae\/resource\/doc\/2020\/08\/self-declaration_in_case_of_entry_into_italy_from_abroad_-__form_18_8.pdf\" class=\"ui circular right labeled icon button\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Link to a self-declaration <i class=\"ui right arrow icon\"><\/i><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In addition, professional drivers can stay in Italy for a maximum period of 120 hours (36 hours in transit), after which time they are obliged to leave the country or undergo quarantine.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The new conditions of entry, which came into effect on 18 August, vary depending on the person\u2019s country of origin.
