After this period, parked lorries will have to leave the parking space.<\/div>\n<\/h1>\n<p style=\"font-size:1.1rem\">According to the Motorway Company in the Republic of Slovenia (DARS), , the number of parking spaces along motorways is limited, so they should not be unnecessarily occupied.<br \/>\nThe new traffic law sets out the following parking rules for vehicles using parking spaces along motorways and expressways:<br \/>\n\u2705 Buses and lorries with a GVW over 3.5 t are allowed to park in designated places for up to 25 hours. If these vehicles are subject to a driving ban or restriction for a period longer than 25 hours, they are allowed to park for the duration of the ban or restriction.<br \/>\nViolations of the rule will be punished with a fine of EUR 300 (for the driver), and EUR 1000 (for the carrier).<br \/>\n\u2705 Drivers are obliged to place a note behind the windscreen clearly indicating the time and date when the parking started (e.g. 10:25, 25\/11\/2021).<br \/>\nThe fine for failing to provide this information is EUR 150 euros (for the driver).<br \/>\nToll inspectors are distributing leaflets with information about the parking time limit and the fines for non-compliance.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In the near future, parking lots along motorways in Slovenia will be equipped with signs informing about the parking limit of up to 25 hours for vehicles with a GVW over 3.5 t.
