The changes were introduced by Regulation No. 70 of March 27, 2026.<\/div>\n<\/h1>\n<p style=\"font-size:1.1rem\">The new rules do not introduce new systemic measures but supplement the existing ban calendar with additional days.<\/p>\n<p><b>According to the amendment, the following dates have been added:<\/b><br \/>\n\u274c Applies to sections A12 Inntal, A13 Brenner and A14 Rheintal\/Walgau, if the destination is reaching the state border (towards Italy) via the section from the N\u00f6\u00dflach interchange to Brenner Nord:<br \/>\n\u25fe Saturday, October 3, 2026 (07:00\u201315:00)<br \/>\n\u2192 extension of the summer ban period (previously until September 26)<br \/>\n\u25fe Friday, April 3, 2026 (07:00\u201322:00)<br \/>\n\u2192 new weekday included in the ban (previously only April 2)<\/p>\n<p>\u274c Applies to section A13 Brenner between Brenner Nord and N\u00f6\u00dflach towards Innsbruck:<br \/>\n\u25fe Saturday, April 4, 2026 (07:00\u201315:00)<br \/>\n\u2192 new restriction day in the northbound direction (Brenner \u2192 Innsbruck)<\/p>\n<p>The change affects two critical periods:<\/p>\n<p>Easter 2026: a sequence of restrictions from April 2\u20134, effectively blocking transit through Brenner during a key logistics period.<br \/>\nSummer season: extension of bans into early October.<\/p>\n<p>Exemptions from the above restrictions remain unchanged.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Austria has updated regulations on traffic bans for heavy goods vehicles due to the renovation of the Lueg Bridge on the A13 motorway (Brennerautobahn).
