Early December will bring two public holidays in Spain, during which numerous traffic restrictions for heavy goods vehicles will be in force.<\/div>\n<\/h1>\n

On 6 December, the country celebrates Constitution Day, and on 8 December, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. Both dates are major national holidays and every year generate increased traffic on the main arteries, especially in the areas of Madrid, Catalonia, Valencia and on routes leading to France.
\nTo improve road safety and facilitate weekend returns and departures, the government and the authorities of the autonomous communities are introducing detailed restrictions for heavy goods vehicles, covering both the national and regional road networks.<\/p>\n

Below is a complete, structured overview of all restrictions in force on 6 and 8 December 2024, organised by autonomous community and including hours, directions of travel and specific kilometre points.<\/p>\n
