The decision was taken following a request submitted by \u010cESMAD Slovakia.<\/div>\n<\/h1>\n<p style=\"font-size:1.1rem\">Slovakia has introduced an exception to the truck driving ban on <b>24, 25 and 26 December 2025<\/b>  and on <b>1 and 6 January 2026<\/b>. Entry into the country will be permitted only within two time windows: 00:00\u201309:00 and 16:00\u201324:00. The permit applies exclusively to vehicles entering Slovakia from neighbouring countries and travelling to a destination within Slovakia \u2013 for example for unloading, to a base, or to a permanent parking facility. This is not a transit permit, and traffic outside the designated time windows remains prohibited.<\/p>\n<p>\u010cESMAD Slovakia pointed out that a complete lack of access on public holidays would hinder the execution of deliveries and drivers\u2019 return to base. The police accepted the request, emphasising their support for the transport industry.<\/p>\n<h6><i>The information on driving bans is provided for guidance only.
