Due to construction work in the Wuppertal-Cronenberg area, the A46 motorway will be completely closed in both directions between the Sonnborner Kreuz interchange and the Wuppertal-Cronenberg exit.<\/div>\n<\/h1>\n<p style=\"font-size:1.1rem\">The closure will be in effect from Friday, 25 July 2025 at 9:00 p.m. until Monday, 28 July 2025 at 5:00 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>Alternative detour routes will be in place during the closure:<br \/>\n\u274c so-called red dot routes (signposted detours via lower-category roads),<br \/>\n\u274c broader detours using the surrounding motorway network.<\/p>\n<p>The works are part of an infrastructure modernization and the expansion of the traffic junction in Wuppertal.
