From Friday, July 18 at 8:00 p.m. until the evening of Sunday, July 20, the Pova\u017esk\u00fd Chlmec tunnel on the D3 motorway near \u017dilina will be completely closed.<\/div>\n<\/h1>\n<p style=\"font-size:1.1rem\">The closure affects the section between the \u017dilina Str\u00e1\u017eov and \u017dilina Brodno interchanges. The reason is a scheduled technical inspection and maintenance of the tunnel infrastructure &#8211; including ventilation, control, and monitoring systems. These works are necessary to ensure traffic safety on this strategic stretch.<\/p>\n<p>During the closure, traffic will be rerouted as follows:<br \/>\n\u27a1\ufe0f From the Str\u00e1\u017eov direction &#8211; via national road no. 61 through the center of \u017dilina,<br \/>\n\u27a1\ufe0f From the Brodno direction &#8211; via national road no. 11, also through the city.<\/p>\n<p>Traffic jams are expected, especially during peak hours.
