On 23 January, the Salzburg district administration issued a driving ban, which prohibits drivers from entering certain urban areas during semester breaks, and school holidays connected with Easter, Ascension, Pentecost and Corpus Christi.<\/div>\n<\/h1>\n

The holiday travel regulations are based on Section 44a Paragraph 1 of the Road Traffic Regulations 1960 (StVO) and introduce measures to prevent vehicles from avoiding traffic jams, in particular by prohibiting entry to vehicles that do not meet certain requirements. In each case the ban is accompanied by additional signs informing about the following exceptions for:
\n– cyclists
\n– vehicles departing from or heading for destinations located in the federal state of Salzburg.<\/p>\n

The ban applies on the following dates:<\/b>
\n\u25fe Semester break: from 10:00 AM on Friday, 31 January\u27a1 to 8:00 PM on Sunday, February 2;
\n\u25fe Semester break: from 10:00 AM on Friday, February 7\u27a1 to 8:00 PM on Sunday, February 9;
\n\u25fe Semester break: from 10:00 AM on Friday, February 14\u27a1 to 8:00 PM on Sunday, February 16;
\n\u25fe Easter break: from 10:00 AM on Friday, April 11\u27a1 to 8:00 PM on Monday, April 21;
\n\u25fe Ascension holiday break: from 10:00 AM on Wednesday, May 28\u27a1 to 8:00 PM on Sunday, June 1;
\n\u25fe Pentecost holiday break: from 10:00 AM on Friday, June 6\u27a1 to 8:00 PM on Monday, June 9;
\n\u25fe Corpus Christi holiday break: from 10:00 AM on Wednesday, June 18\u27a1 to 8:00 PM on Sunday, June 22.<\/p>\n

\nb) on Ahornstra\u00dfe at the intersection with B160 \u2013 Berchtesgadener Stra\u00dfe towards Niederalm;
\nc) on Neu-Anifer Stra\u00dfe at the intersection with B160 \u2013 Berchtesgadener Stra\u00dfe towards Niederalm;
\nd) on Kirchenstra\u00dfe at the intersection with B159 \u2013 Salzachtal Stra\u00dfe towards Gr\u00f6dig;
\ne) on Schloss-Lasseregg-Stra\u00dfe at the intersection with B159 \u2013 Salzachtal Stra\u00dfe towards Gr\u00f6dig.<\/p>\n
