Italien führt Grenzkontrollen wieder ein
Die Maßnahme steht im Zusammenhang mit dem am kommenden Wochenende in Rom stattfindenden G20-Gipfel.
Ab 22.00 Uhr am 27. Oktober bis 13:00 Uhr am 1. November werden an allen Binnengrenzen wieder Kontrollen eingeführt. Nach Angaben des italienischen Innenministeriums ist dies bei wichtigen Ereignissen gängige Praxis und wird seit kurzem auch von den Schengen-Ländern und der Europäischen Kommission angewandt. Italien grenzt an Frankreich, die Schweiz, Österreich und Slowenien.
