
How to avoid a fine if the driving time has been exceeded?
Article 12 of the Regulation (EC) 561/2006 – the exceptional departure from the regulations concerning the maximum daily driving time and the minimum daily and weekly rest periods in order find a suitable stopping place.
The ELD mercilessly shows that you have exceeded your driving time and you are still stuck in a traffic jam or looking for a parking place?
Fortunately, this is where Article 12 the Regulation (EC) 561/2006 kicks in, which the driver can invoke in unexpected circumstance when road conditions are particularly unfavourable.
