
Additional truck bans on the Brenner motorway
The ban is in effect during two upcoming weekends – on 10-11 and on 17-18 October on the Italian Brenner motorway (A22) northbound, from Sterzing towards the border.
The ban applies to all vehicle with a MAM of over 7.5 tonnes (including those carrying perishable foods).
The ban is in effect on:
• from 4:30 pm on 10 October to 8:00 on 11 October
• from 4:30 pm on 10 October to 8:00 on 11 October
Vehicles with a MAM of over 7.5 tonnes, travelling along the A22 in the Bolzano province when the ban comes into effect, are required to stop at the Sadobre service area (Autoporto Sadobre) in Sterzing. Trucks with reservations for rail transport in the Brenner commune are exempt from the ban.
