
A 7 full closure starting on Friday
The following traffic restrictions are to be expected during the full closure of the A7 from 9 p.m. on Friday, February 25, to 5 a.m. on Monday, February 28.
• The northbound carriageway in the direction of Flensburg will be closed between the HH-Heimfeld (32) and HH-Volkspark (27) junctions
• The southbound carriageway in the direction of Hannover will be closed between the HH-Volkspark junction (27) and the HH-Heimfeld junction (32).
The junctions themselves will be closed from 9 p.m. on Friday to set up the full closure, with the exception of the northbound carriageway at AS HH-Waltershof, which will not be closed until 9:45 p.m. on Friday.
The following routes to reach particular destinations and diversions for long-distance traffic are recommended during the 55-hour closure.
• for long-distance traffic – the diversion via the A1, A21 and B205 from the Hamburg-Maschen / Horster Dreieck junction to the north and from the Neumünster junction to the south. Due to continuing construction work on the A 21, this diversion route is limited to one lane in each direction, but traffic can continue without interruptions.
• Drivers travelling to Hamburg along the A7 can use the following routes to relieve traffic in the city road network:
• Drivers traveling in the direction of Hanover should follow the “Elbbrücken” signs from the HH-Volkspark junction (27) or already at the HH-Stellingen junction (26) (via Kieler Straße, Eimsbütteler Marktplatz).
The following route options are also available:
• Drivers coming from the north, bound for the city center, can drive from the AS HH-Schnelsen-Nord via the airport bypass B 432 and B 433 and the Alsterkrugchaussee or
• to reach the city center from AS HH-Schnelsen via Kollaustrasse.
