Niederlande startet Kontrollen aufgrund des Verbots des Verbringens der regelmäßigen Wochenruhezeit im Fahrzeug
Am 20. Dezember 2017 hat der Europäische Gerichtshof verbindlich entschieden, dass das Verbot, die regelmäßige Wochenruhezeit im Fahrzeug zu verbringen, von der europäischen Gesetzgebung gedeckt ist, wodurch die von den Mitgliedstaaten verhängten Strafen legalisiert werden.
Mitte Januar kündigte die niederländische Infrastrukturministerin Cora van Nieuwenhuizen an, landesweit Inspektionen durchzuführen, um das Verbot seit Februar durchzusetzen.
Bei Zuwiderhandlungen drohen Unternehmern Geldbußen in einer Höhe von bis zu 1500 EUR.
