
Tirol – HGV traffic restrictions on the German-Austrian border
In 2018 the government of Tirol in planning to introduce restrictions for HGV traffic on the Inntal motorway near Kufstein-Nord on at least 25 working days.
To reduce traffic intensity on busy international routes, a maximum of 250-300 lorries will be allowed to cross the border per hour. The limits for HGVs will be introduced on the following days in 2018:
22 March;
3, 5, 26 and 30 April;
2, 7, 8, 11, 22, 23, 24, 28, 29 and 30 May;
1 June;
2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 July;
16 August;
27 October;
2 and 5 November.
