Die wöchentliche Ruhezeit im Fahrzeug ist nicht gut fürs Geschäft
Am 9. April hat die Europäische Transportarbeiter-Föderation einen offenen Brief an die Mitglieder des Europäischen Parlaments veröffentlicht, in dem sie mitteilt, dass sie keine Kompromisse bei den im Mobilitätspaket enthaltenen Kernregeln der Lenk- und Ruhezeiten befürwortet.
Einige Europaabgeordnete haben eine angemessene rechtliche Lösung vorgeschlagen: eine Ausnahmeregelung die den Fahrer erlaubt die regelmäßige wöchentliche Ruhezeit im Lkw zu verbringen, wenn keine geeignete Infrastruktur vorhanden ist. Die ETF ist jedoch der Ansicht, dass die Ausnahmeregelung zu mehr unfairem Wettbewerb in diesem Sektor führen wird und in völligem Widerspruch zur Definition von Ruhe stehen wird.
