A2-Sperrung bei Whitfield für den Brückenbau
Fahrzeugen, die vom oder zum Hafen von Dover fahren, wird nach Möglichkeit die Nutzung der A20/M20 empfohlen.
Ein wichtiger Meilenstein beim Bau von Fastrack findet am Wochenende von Freitag, 14., bis Montag, 17. Juli statt, wenn eine neue Brücke mit einer Spannweite von 31,5 m über die A2 bei Whitfield installiert wird.
Ein kurzer Abschnitt der A2 vom Whitfield-Kreisverkehr bis zum AS Whitfield (A256-Kreuzung) wird von 21:00 Uhr am Freitag, 14. Juli, bis 5:00 Uhr am Montag, 17. Juli, für den gesamten Verkehr gesperrt.
Während der Bauarbeiten an der Brücke wird es eine ausgeschilderte Umleitung über den White Cliffs Business Park (Honeywood Road und Honeywood Parkway) geben.
